When using Ludus Retail for in-person sales, a 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction processing fee applies. For example, if a patron buys 10 water bottles at $1 each, they pay $10, and your group pays just $0.59 in processing fees. There are no fees on cash or free orders.

Currently, the Mobile Reader will work with the mobile app in iOS and Android mobile devices and tablets. The Standard Terminal will work once the web version of Retail rolls out in January 2025. Until then, use the mobile app with the Mobile Reader and a phone or tablet.
Yes — a new Retail tab will be added to the mobile app that’ll automatically work with your existing Mobile Reader or Terminal.
Retail comes with an in-person point-of-sale tool inside our existing Ludus mobile app and on the web. Retail can only be used for in-person transactions and pairs with our Mobile Readers or Terminals for card payments. If you’d like to sell additional items alongside tickets online, you can use our Add-Ons feature which lets patrons purchase additional items in their ticket orders.
