Currently the Mobile Reader will work with the mobile app in iOS and Android mobile devices and tablets. If you’d like to use your Standard Terminal, this will work with the web version of Retail that’ll be rolling out in January 2025. So if you’re looking to use the mobile app with a phone or tablet, you’ll need to have the Mobile Reader.
Yes — a new Retail tab will be added to the mobile app that’ll automatically work with your existing Mobile Reader or Terminal.
Retail comes with an in-person point-of-sale tool inside our existing Ludus mobile app and on the web. Retail can only be used for in-person transactions and pairs with our Mobile Readers or Terminals for card payments. If you’d like to sell additional items alongside tickets online, you can use our Add-Ons feature which lets patrons purchase additional items in their ticket orders.

When selling via our Retail point-of-sale tool, the processing fee will be 2.9% + $0.30/transaction. For example, if you sell a patron 10 water bottles at $1 per bottle via the Retail feature, the patron pays $10, and $0.59 will be paid by your group for the transaction.
