Retail is Ludus’ in-person point-of-sale tool, designed for selling concessions, merchandise, flowers, T-shirts, programs, and more. It works through the Ludus mobile app and web dashboard, so you can manage on-site sales alongside ticketing and donations.

Retail is only used for in-person sales. If you want to sell merchandise or other items online, you can use Add-Ons or set up a Collection to offer those items in advance.

Retail transactions are charged 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. For example, if you sell 10 water bottles at $1 each in a single sale, the total fee would be $0.59. This fee is taken from the total payment and cannot be passed to the patron.

No. Retail is included with your Ludus account at no additional cost. There are no setup charges or activation steps.

Yes. The Mobile Reader works now with iOS and Android via the Ludus app. The Standard Terminal will be available once the web-based Retail tool is released. Until then, use the mobile app with a phone or tablet.

Yes. Retail integrates with your existing Ludus Mobile Reader or Terminal. A Retail tab in the mobile app will appear automatically when you have access.

Yes. You can mark any sale as paid by cash within the Retail tool, and it will still show up in your transaction reporting.

Yes. All Retail sales are tracked in real-time. You can filter by product, payment method, or staff user and export reports directly from your dashboard.

Yes. You can have multiple devices or stations running Retail at the same time, which makes it easy to manage concessions, merchandise, and other booths simultaneously.

Yes. You can set your own item names, categories, and prices for each product sold through Retail. You can also track inventory and mark items as sold out if needed.
